The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority announced the addition of international flights to the island from the U.S. with American Airlines, JetBlue and United Airlines starting in fall 2018.
JetBlue is expanding its luxury Mint service in the Caribbean and will launch this service on flights from Boston Logan International Airport to Saint Lucia starting Nov. 3, 2018. The airline will also resume its Mint service on Saturday flights from New York’s JFK airport to the island starting February 2019. JetBlue’s Mint service allows passengers to experience a premium cabin with fully lie-flat seats, private suites with doors, self-service snack and bottled water areas, and more. The JetBlue flight will depart from Boston at 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays and arrive at the Hewanorra International Airport at 12:19 p.m. Return flights from Saint Lucia will depart at 1:44 p.m. and arrive in Boston at 6:59 p.m.
American Airlines will add a new daily flight to Saint Lucia from Miami beginning Dec. 19, 2018. That service will leave out of Miami at 7:15p.m. and overnight on the island for an 8:30 a.m. return flight from Hewanorra International Airport every day, starting Dec. 20, 2018. In addition, United Airlines will operate a new Saturday only flight from Chicago O’Hare starting Jan. 5 through April 30, 2019.
