Perillo Tours is adding two women-only itineraries for 2027, each running nine days in Italy and capped at 20 guests. Female Tour Directors lead both trips, which are built for women traveling solo or with friends.
“Over the last few years, we’ve heard from more and more women who want to travel on their own or with friends in a group created just for them,” said Steve Perillo, owner of Perillo Tours, in a press statement. “These tours have been created with these travelers in mind, and we’re excited to see where it takes us.”
Culinary Adventures by Perillo Tours
The Women in Sorrento tour places your clients in a cliffside property overlooking the Gulf of Naples for seven nights. From there, the group visits Positano, Capri, Amalfi and the ruins of Pompeii. One day includes a stop at family-run farms for demonstrations and tastings of olive oil, mozzarella and limoncello, along with a visit to a lemon grove where a local family has grown Amalfi’s “Sfusato Amalfitano” lemons for generations. Rates start at $5,750 per person based on double occupancy, and the tour departs April 23, 2027.
The Women in Umbria tour spends five nights in the hill town of Gubbio and two nights in Florence. Guests head into the Umbrian countryside for a truffle hunt guided by hunters and their trained dogs, join a private cooking class in the Tuscan countryside, and stop at small, family-run producers for wine and olive oil tastings. Local partners lead visits to Assisi, Perugia, Deruta and Spello, along with artisan workshops covering the region’s ceramics, stained glass, weaving and chocolate traditions. In Florence, the itinerary wraps with a walking tour and a stop to see Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia Gallery. Rates start at $5,295 per person for double occupancy, and the tour departs on Sept. 10, 2027.
Both itineraries mark Perillo’s first women-only offerings, giving travelers who prefer a small, curated group an alternative to the operator’s larger mixed departures.
