The Rocky Mountaineer has launched the new Coastal Passage route, connecting Seattle and Vancouver on rail travel to the Canadian Rockies.

The new route will have 24 departures (heading either westbound from the Canadian Rockies or eastbound from Seattle) in 2014 offering GoldLeaf and SilverLeaf services on board. Travelers can also choose packages with stays in Seattle, Vancouver and Kamloops, or Lake Louise, Banff or Jasper, Alberta.
