Want to hang out with the likes of Shrek and Po? Well, Universal Orlando Resort has you covered as next year will see the debut of the DreamWorks land at Universal Studios Florida.
The land, as noted in today’s press announcement, will provide guests ample opportunity to “share special moments with their favorite characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse and explore themed, interactive play spaces and attractions that bring popular franchises like Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda to life in the most imaginatively fun ways.”
The new DreamWorks land is part of a collection of new entertainment experiences debuting at Universal Orlando Resort in 2024.
Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights
For those who can’t wait to head to Universal until next year, this is a reminder that Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights is right around the corner.
This year’s Halloween celebration will feature an all-new “Stranger Things” haunted house where guests will encounter the show’s villain Vecna. Guests will find themselves on the front line of Vecna’s deadly attacks on the citizens of Hawkins while traveling through iconic scenes, including the notorious Hawkins Lab, the enigmatic Creel House and Vecna’s chilling mindscape. Along the way, guests will confront their deepest fears and come face to face with otherworldly creatures like demobats and even Vecna himself. In a race against the clock, guests find themselves in the ultimate showdown within Vecna’s blood-red Mind Lair, striving to escape and save mankind from his deadly curse.
Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights will run for 48 nights at Universal Orlando Resort, from Sept. 1 to Nov. 4. All event tickets are already on sale, with many options available for your clients: The Frequent Fear and Rush of Fear passes allow guests to experience the horror again and again on multiple nights during the event, and guests can get to the fear faster by upgrading their Fear Passes to include express access. Those looking for an early start can add the Scream Early ticket to their event ticket, giving them access to Universal Studios Florida between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to enjoy the theme park before experiencing Halloween Horror Nights. Guests can also purchase single-night tickets and event upgrades like Express Pass, R.I.P. Tour and the daytime Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour.
