Kimpton EPIC Hotel in Miami Announces Redesign

Kimpton EPIC Hotel in Miami has announced plans for an extensive renovation that will include its guest rooms and suites, as well as its lobby and pool area.

The 411-room hotel is situated in the heart of Downtown Miami with stunning views over Biscayne Bay, and is set to receive a Miami-inspired redesign with style elements that reflect the local landscape and personality of the city.

The reimagined guest rooms will feature driftwood-inspired slatted headboards, wood-look tile flooring, marble base table and chairs and private patios with custom furniture, all overlooking Biscayne Bay. Art featured within the guest rooms will have a local sensibility, with a focus on highlighting Miami’s flourishing art scene.

The renovation will also include the addition of two new suites – a Hospitality and a Presidential suite – both situated on the corners of the property’s 30th floor. The suites will boast wrap-around balconies with sweeping views, as well as curated, one-of-a-kind furniture and collected art.

The hotel’s expansive 16th-floor pool terrace will also receive a refresh with a clean, modern color palette and a European feel with new daybeds, sofas and dining areas.

As with all Kimpton properties, the approach is a bespoke design, and virtually all furniture, lighting and artwork will be custom and proprietary to the hotel. The renovation is expected to be completed by the end of September and is led by the in-house Kimpton design team.

Reservations for the remodeled rooms will be available for bookings starting this summer.
