The Emerald Coast in the Florida Panhandle is shimmering as it welcomes a new hotel, the independently branded The Pensacola Beach Resort.

Sitting on over 800 ft. of gulf-front property, the Florida resort has 360-degree water views overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, Little Sabine Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. Welcoming guests are 161 waterfront guestrooms, including 24 Executive King rooms with wrap-around balconies, coastal-inspired public spaces, an elevated pool deck, new restaurant concept, retail offerings, a beach bar and a curated art collection featuring impressionist maritime images and a nod to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and local boating culture.

Florida“The Pensacola Beach Resort aims to set a new standard for travelers visiting our beaches,” said Leigh Taylor, co-founder and principal of Corsair Hospitality Group, Inc., which manages the hotel and other properties in the region, in a press release statement. “We are deeply rooted here in Pensacola as our company has been developing and managing hotels along this coast for over 40 years. It’s a unique destination, and we are thrilled to show our guests all that our home has to offer.”

Open exclusively to hotel guests, Windrose, the Florida resort’s newly rebranded restaurant, takes its name from Pensacola’s historic maritime culture and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an upscale, casual atmosphere. The menu features a mix of hotel classics and coastal cuisine inspired by the flavors of the area’s Southern roots.

The Florida resort is also home to The Salty Rose, a vibrant beach bar and grill whose name is a take on a sailor’s watering hole. Open to the public, guests and locals can pop over for island music, beach games and a menu of fresh salads, local fish sandwiches and loaded nachos. The Salty Rose will offer a new calendar of programming throughout the year, allowing hotel guests to experience the local culture.
