End-of-year excitement is on tap with Explora Journeys’ new North American lineup for fall, including far-out experiences like meeting a NASA astronaut and taking a seaplane tour of one of Quebec’s loveliest areas.

Bookings are now open for September through November explorations of the East Coast of the United States, Canada and New England in the lap of luxury on Explora Journeys’ swanky Explora I, the first of the line’s six planned vessels. As part of the ship’s debut Inaugural Journeys Collection for this part of the world, experiences will include stops in marquee destinations like New York, Boston, Halifax and Quebec City, where clients will enjoy a combination of breathtaking scenery and natural landscapes with a dive into the urban settings of the big cities.

“Our team has sought out exclusive partnerships across the globe to ensure our guests are offered a wide array of curated experiences to suit their every desire. Under the umbrella of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), we partner with Travelife to create sustainability awareness for Tour Operators,” said Sacha Rougier, head of itinerary planning and destination experiences at Explora Journeys, in a press statement. “Travelife is an internationally leading training, management and certification program for sustainability in tourism. The ingenuity of Explora Journey’s bespoke destination experiences created is set to surpass expectations, leading our guests on a journey of self, social and active discover fulfilment and enrichment, easing them into an Ocean State of Mind.”

These are experiences for those on your client list who prefer small group tours (anywhere from two to 25) and off-the-beaten-path tours to make their unique memories.

A Look at Explora Journeys’ North American Explorations

Highlights of the United States portion of the itinerary include stops in New York City, where your clients will get a backstage pass to a Broadway show and a private tour of the MOMA, among other things. In Boston, they’ll check out Fenway Park, visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. Port Canaveral means the Kennedy Space Center and a private visit with a NASA astronaut, and Portland will bring a sail on a lobster boat and a trip to a local Maine winery.

In Canada, nature will put on a priceless show when your clients visit the Baie Comeau and kayak the St. Lawrence River with an expert guide (prepare them for whale sightings!), then spend a morning at Charlottetown hobnobbing with the local falconers and their birds of prey. Of course, the local cuisine will be a huge part of the experience. Other stops include Gaspe, Havre-Saint-Pierre, La Baeu (Saguenay), lovely Quebec and Halifax, where a round of golf will make an appearance at The Links at Brunello.
