Casa Chameleon Hotels announced that they are reopening on July 3, though still waiting for borders to open to welcome international travelers. Both Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas and Casa Chameleon at Mal Pais will welcome back guests from near and far to enjoy a much needed and well-deserved break in keeping with traditional Pura Vida.

Both resorts’ open-air outdoor spaces make Casa Chameleon Hotels make it easy for physical distancing. The boutique villas with private plunge pools provide the ultimate luxury while allowing guests to enjoy their vacations with little worry. Additionally, the resorts are providing the ultimate socially distanced escape with the ability to fully buyout each property. Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas can accommodate up to 42 people with a private staff, exclusive access to the renowned Sentido Norte restaurant, and all activities for $12,000 per night for a minimum of three nights. Mal Pais’ 10 adult-only villas can transform into a private paradise starting at $3,000 per night for a minimum of two nights and can accommodate up to 20 people with full access to the Brasas de Mar restaurant, bar and private staff.

Costa Rica residents can take advantage of a new exclusive local rate starting from $249 per night including breakfast and lunch daily.

During the properties’ brief closing both, Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas and Casa Chameleon at Mal Pais were deep cleaned and thoroughly sanitized. Prioritizing the health and safety of everyone who visits Casa Chameleon Hotels, the company has enhanced their  daily cleaning protocols of all guestrooms and public spaces. Updates to housekeeping, spa services and dining procedures have been addressed in accordance with government guidelines and a detailed list of these measures can be found here: cdn77.casachameleonhotels.com/Casa-Chameleon-COVID-19-Procedures.pdf.

“There are no words to express how happy we are to reopen Casa Chameleon Hotels,” said Brent Reynolds, CEO of Nolan Reynolds International in a press statement. “It is not just as a sign of reopening for the resorts, but for our entire community and the industry that we love. While we realize there is a longer road ahead, it has been a long wait for all of us and we could not think of a better way to kick off this reopening than by welcoming the local community. As the country eagerly awaits the opening of our borders, we hope Costa Ricans will take advantage of this opportunity and treat themselves to a well-deserved staycation.”
