The 62-year old Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino—recognized as the first luxury hotel on the island—offers guests the destination’s largest stretch of beach—15 acres—as well as 357 guestrooms. And when you’re considering who exactly you should be recommending this Palm Beach, Aruba property to, know that it caters to all types of travelers—from solo and families to couples as well as business and bleisure travelers.

Whichever segment your clients fall into, today’s travelers are being catered to by the resort with an array of new offerings that embrace the “work from anywhere” philosophy and put the focus on wellness.

The resort’s Escape to Happiness package, valid through Jan. 8, 2022, allows travelers to stay on-island for an extended period of time and continue their daily work regimen (with a dose of fun, of course). Offer includes full daily endless breakfast for two, 20 percent discount on F&B and for spa services, and premium WiFi. For every 28 days guests booking the Escape to Happiness offer receive one two tank boat dive (or snorkel) for up to two people with the hotel GM, Vasco v. Baselli and one Sunset Concierge private dinner for two (we’ll get to what that entails in just a bit).

To add to this “work from anywhere” theme, the property has converted a few of its beach palapas into Power Palapas in order to allow guests to plug in their computer or devices and work right on the beach—in other words, your clients can take a meeting in paradise. Guests at these Power Palapas get a cooling pad for their computers, a screen protector, and a power bowl for lunch as well as aloe juice or coconut water, fruit and bottled water.

Travel with Your Bubble

Ideal for today’s travel landscape, the resort’s Bubble on the Beach package is available for stays of five nights or more and includes endless breakfast for two adults and two children, a daily Poolapa or Beach Palapa experience, a S’mores on the Shore experience under the stars, and a Sunset Concierge dining experience. The Bubble on the Beach offer is valid through Oct. 29, 2021.

Now back to that Sunset Concierge dining experience, which allows guests to choose their ideal sunset dinner spot—be it with toes in the water poolside; toes in the sand on the beach; by a garden waterfall; in a private beachside cabana; or on a pool bridge. As clients are asking for more customization these days, why not up the ante and make the Sunset Concierge experience an Island Sunset Journey, which adds on a private island excursion to their culinary adventure. Options include dining beneath the divi divi tree; with views of the lighthouse; or in a small, secluded bay.

Wellness Experiences

When it comes to wellness experiences on property, there’s a new spa menu at eforea Spa that includes such treatments as the eforea Astronomy Experience, wherein the spa is transformed at nighttime to become a tranquil oasis where clients can experience a romantic massage under the stars while listening to the soothing sounds of the spa garden and fountains, followed by stargazing and a guided meditation with healing crystals and sage. Another unique experience is the Sacred Sounds Massage, a meditative experience combining a relaxing massage with vibrational sound therapy using crystal sound bowls that promote balance, restoration and relaxation that reach the guest’s chakras.

Other onsite wellness experiences ideal for today’s travelers include biking, paddle-boarding, kayaking and aloe scrub-making (aloe is native to Aruba and guests take the recipe home as well as what they make). There are also guided bike tours to the lighthouse, or guests can opt to rent the bikes and explore on their own. For those who are into birding, recommend a visit to the onsite bird sanctuary with a guide, where guests can interact with the birds.

COVID-19-Related Protocols

Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino requires face coverings in all indoor public areas for guests and team members. With COVID-19-related testing requirements for re-entry into the U.S. from international departures, Hilton Aruba has facilitated access to a certified third party laboratory to provide PCR and Antigen testing onsite to those guests that wish to make use of their service. Appointments are required, and it’s recommended clients take the test 48 hours before departure.

Those traveling to Aruba from the U.S. will need to complete the 72-hour PCR testing requirement regardless of vaccination status. All visitors (including children) will be required to complete the online Embarkation/Disembarkation card process and be approved in order to be permitted entry to Aruba. The new ED card process includes five components.

To make traveling to Aruba easier, the Aruba Tourism Authority has created the Aruba Health App, which stays up to date with government procedures and updates. It unlocks faster lines at the airport; low touch travel; faster test results; health information; and Health & Happiness Code business listings.
