Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to travel to Europe for the first time. For my first rendezvous with Europe, I explored Spain—specifically Valencia—as a guest of the Tourist Office of Spain. I can say that this region, its city, and surrounding towns completely captured my heart with its picturesque landscapes and vast history around every corner. During my 5-day visit to the region I participated in paella-making class, took a bike tour of the city, visited a zoo featuring African animals, and explored a stunning aquarium. There were also visits to stunning cathedrals, museums, the beach, the contemporary arts and sciences district, and some tasty dining venues. Here’s a sneak peek of what made me fall in love with Valencia.
