Delta Air Lines has reinstated its nonstop route between Atlanta and Grenada for the winter high season. The Grenada Tourism Authority confirmed that the first flight of this renewed route landed successfully, marking the return of Delta’s direct service between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND). This service will operate daily through the winter season, continuing until April 2026, with a flight duration of approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
“We are thrilled to welcome Delta’s daily non-stop service from Atlanta to Grenada, creating a direct connection to one of the largest hubs in the United States. This gateway will introduce thousands of new visitors to the Spice Isle as we enter the most popular time of year to explore Grenada,” said Randall Dolland, Chairman of Grenada Tourism Authority, in a press statement. “From our vibrant capital and spice markets to lush rainforests and unparalleled dive sites, there is something for every visitor interested in exploring our tri-island.”
Delta Does it Daily
This renewed schedule makes Delta the only U.S. airline providing nonstop service to Grenada from Atlanta. Flights operate aboard the Boeing 737-800, featuring First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin seating.
Grenada, along with its sister islands Carriacou and Petite Martinique, offers a multi-dimensional Caribbean experience. Known for nutmeg and other spices, the island group balances cultural heritage and sustainable tourism initiatives.
