Commuter airline, Cape Air, is expanding its footprint with new routes that are launching this year and in 2026. The carrier has announced four new routes in total, all designed to assist travelers and improve access to major domestic and international gateways.

“This is a significant moment for Cape Air,” said Aaron Blinka, Vice President of Planning at Cape Air, in a press statement. “Each new route reflects our commitment to thoughtful, strategic growth—connecting more communities with smarter, more convenient travel options.”

What’s New for Cape Air

New Bedford (EWB) – Boston Logan (BOS): Starting Sept. 29, 2025, Cape Air will operate year-round, twice-daily flights between New Bedford and Boston Logan, providing travelers access to global flights.

Long Island MacArthur (ISP) – Boston Logan (BOS): Beginning July 3, 2025, the airline will launch four daily flights connecting Long Island travelers directly with Boston. This high-frequency route offers an option for clients in the New York area who are looking for faster regional access.

Norwood (OWD) – Nantucket (ACK) & Martha’s Vineyard (MVY): Seasonal summer service will debut July 3, 2025, between Norwood Memorial Airport and both Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard—just in time for Fourth of July weekend and peak leisure demand in New England.

St. Thomas (STT) – St. Barts (SBH): Kicking off October 13, Cape Air will introduce twice-daily flights between St. Thomas and St. Barts. This new route fills a vital niche in the Caribbean’s high-end leisure market, offering a direct option between the U.S. Virgin Islands and the French West Indies.
