Andaz Hotel Opens in Japan

Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills, the first Andaz Hotel in Japan, opened in June. Under the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Andaz Tokyo joins Park Hyatt Tokyo, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, and Hyatt Regency Tokyo as part of Hyatt’s Asian portfolio.

The 164-guestroom hotel, located in the 52-story Toranomon Hills tower on floors 47-52 (between the Tokyo Tower and Imperial Palace), offers access to key locations and sites including the Ginza shopping district, cultural attractions, and the city’s central financial area. Guestroom bathrooms are equipped with deep-soaking tubs inspired by the Japanese bath culture. All non-alcoholic, mini-bar drinks and locally-inspired snacks are complimentary, as are local phone calls, and WiFi. The property is also home to four dining venues the Andaz Tavern, located on the 51st floor featuring European cuisine made with Japanese ingredients; the Rooftop Bar offering cocktails infused with premium teas and seasonal fruits, domestic beers, Champagne and sakes; BeBu, a casual all-day eatery that serves burgers and local beers; and the Pastry Shop serving fine patisserie and coffee. The resort also includes the AO Spa & Club, which includes a 65-ft. pool, a carbonated bath, floating jet bath, fitness training machines and five spa treatment rooms.
