Amtrak’s New Journeys Across the U.S.

Amtrak Vacations has added over 18 new rail journeys including independent and family tours throughout the U.S. to destinations such as Glacier National Park, New York City, New Orleans, Washington, DC and more.

The 9-day Atlantic Coast Discovery Rail Journey runs from New York City to Washington, D.C. to Orlando aboard Amtrak’s Silver Meteor or Silver Star and features tours in NYC and Washington, D.C., a visit to Kennedy Space Center, and two full days in Orlando’s Universal Studios.

The 6-day Windy City to Big Apple Rail Journey includes stops in Chicago and NYC. This trip includes a hop-on/hop-off tour in Chicago and New York City, with a choice of three options including a city sightseeing cruise, visits to the Museum of Modern Art or the Top of the Rock Observation Deck, a Rockefeller Center Tour, a Radio City Stage Door Tour, lunch at Planet Hollywood, and many more options. Dinner at a NYC restaurant is also included.

The 6-day Blues and Bayou Rail Journey takes travelers through Memphis and New Orleans combining the sounds of jazz and blues music. Highlights include a visit to Graceland and brunch at The Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans. The trip includes a 3-night stay in both cities.

Amtrak Vacations is offering an early booking discount of $300 per couple for travelers who book before March 31. Rates start at $779 pp.
