The Oberammergau Passion Play, the once-every-decade re-enactment of the death and resurrection of Christ, has been postponed due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic for two years, and Collette Tours is reaching out to travel advisors with options available for their clients. The Bavarian hamlet of Oberammergau’s passion play performances are now scheduled for 2022.

In the meantime, here are the tours Collette has been forced to cancel through and including April 15, 2020.

They include:

Travel to the Schengen-Europe region:

Tours will be canceled through and including April 19, 2020, in the following destinations: Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Departures to Italy and Russia will be cancelled through and including April 30, 2020, with normal operations resuming on May 1, 2020.

Departures to Greece (for those featuring a cruise aspect only) will be cancelled through and including April 30, 2020, with normal operations resuming on May 1, 2020.

China

Departures to China will be canceled through August 31, 2020, with normal operations resuming on September 1, 2020.
