MSC Cruises announced its decision to suspend its Turkish ports of call today due to guests’ growing concern about the safety of the country following last week’s deadly terrorist attack in the capital city of Istanbul. As of March 26, the MSC Magnifica will be based out of Venice. The ship’s weekly ports of call in the cities of Izmir and Istanbul, scheduled to begin March 29, will be replaced with ports of call in Athens and Mykonos, Greece.
