American Cruise Lines Helps Agents With Group Bookings

American Cruise Lines is looking to help travel agents and tour operators booking their clients on group trips aboard its vessels with the addition of Group Coordinators to its sales team.

Group Coordinators are specifically dedicated to assisting travel agents and tour operators with group travel and are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST. A group booking is defined as 10 or more passengers traveling together and confirmed simultaneously. American Cruise Lines offers groups a 10 percent discount off brochure fares, while travel agents and small group tour operators can earn 10-15 percent commission rates. In addition for tour operators, after booking 10 passengers, a double occupancy cabin is 50 percent, off and after booking 24 passengers, a double occupancy cabin is complimentary.
