Allegiant Air launched a new low-cost service from Rochester, New York to Fort Lauderdale earlier this month. The nonstop flights are currently operating twice a week between the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The Las Vegas-based airline also plans to add 11 new routes in the coming weeks, including a service from Rochester to the Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), which is scheduled to begin Nov. 13, 2015.
