AmaWaterways will offer over 30 itineraries, ranging from 8 to 21 days in Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa. Among the eight new itineraries, two will feature 10- and 11-night cruises along the Rhine and Moselle. AmaWaterways will also launch AmaLea, accommodating a maximum of 158 guests. Like her sister-ships, AmaKristina (2017), AmaStella and AmaViola (2016), AmaLea will feature connecting staterooms and triple accommodations, signature twin balcony staterooms, multiple dining venues, a sun deck pool with swim-up bar and much more.

AmaWaterways will introduce a complimentary daily “Sip & Sail” cocktail hour prior to dinners. As a member of La Chaine des Rotisseurs, the exclusive international culinary society, AmaWaterways excels in offering exquisite, locally-inspired cuisine always paired with unlimited wine, as well as beer with lunch and dinner.

For travelers who wish to delve even deeper into the wonderful world of wine and food, AmaWaterways will offer 50 wine-themed cruises. Guests will be immersed into the more appetizing side of the destinations visited with authentic encounters with vintners and artisans. Excursions range from learning the nuances of wine and chocolate pairings in a 16th-century French castle to tasting history with a sparkling wine reception at Austria’s majestic Greinburg Castle. Wine hosts and qualified industry experts lead guests through wine tastings, as well as a food and wine pairing dinners designed to heighten the dynamic relationship between the two. Rosemary-crusted lamb? A clear match for Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Oysters on the half shell? Try a Loire white. Rich chocolate cake? Port is in order.
