John Hall’s Alaska is celebrating 40 years of traveling Alaska and John Hall Sr.’s love of sharing Alaska in 2022.

John Sr. will celebrate by traveling in a 1947 Cadillac retracing the steps of his original 1955 trip shipping eggs from Minnesota to Alaska.

The yearlong celebration will also include John Hall Sr. hosting two iconic departures of the Alaska and Canadian Rockies package in September 2022 alongside three generations of family.

Platinum Inside Passage Experience
Sailing inaugural experiences in 2021, John Hall’s Alaska expands opportunities for multiday opportunities and packages visiting Southeast Alaska. The Platinum Inside Passage Experience provides the best of Southeast Alaska while guests have the luxury and comfort of hotel accommodations each evening. Guests spend two nights in Sitka, Alaska before sailing via privately chartered day vessel to Juneau. Continued day adventures include visits to Glacier Bay National Park, Tracy Arm Fjord, Icy Strait Point and Skagway. This experience mirrors the inclusive, small group travel experience created in Alaska’s interior.

True National Parks of Alaska
John Hall’s Alaska is extending the experience of the true National Parks of Alaska currently offering visits to six Alaska National Parks. This itinerary will now include the opportunity for guests to visit all eight national parks, expanding into the regions of Lake Clark and Kobuk National Park.

Returning to our Roots
The John Hall’s Alaska team and family will also be returning to the foundation of their 40 years of business, focusing on elevated and inclusive Alaska travel with multi-day land packages and unique experiences throughout Southeast Alaska. Departures include two Alaska and Canadian Rockies adventures, which follow the original iconic path John Hall Sr. set forth to operate 40 years ago. John Hall’s Alaska is also offering the 1898 Alaska and Gold Rush program retracing the history of Alaska gold rush and mirroring programs offered in the 2000. Visits include Anchorage, Denali National Park and Fairbanks before guests journey into the Yukon Territory visiting Dawson City, Whitehorse and Skagway. This also includes three days of privately chartered day vessel experiences visiting Tracy Arm Fjord and Icy Strait Point.
