The Orlando World Center Marriott’s Falls Pool officially reopening on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021. The zero-entry, large scale lagoon style outdoor pool with sun shelves throughout has been updated featuring private cabanas and daybeds, expanded food and beverage service, a kids’ splash zone, and much more. Falls Pool’s new elements are part of Orlando World Center Marriott’s ongoing multi-million-dollar renovation project, which has added enhanced experiences to the property.

“Our renovation solidifies the Orlando World Center Marriott’s position as one of Central Florida’s finest full-service resort options for leisure and business travelers,” said Robert Bray, general manager at Orlando World Center Marriott, in a press statement. “The enhanced Falls Pool experience is a centerpiece for our property, offering thrills, relaxation, and plenty of splashes.”

The reinvented pool now offers ample poolside lounge chairs, daybeds, and additional private cabanas with TV/WiFi, mini refrigerator/ceiling fan and dedicated service. Fall Pool Bar & Grill overlooking the pool area, has expanded its food and beverage offerings, which services poolside guests, as well as guests of the resort through the mobile dining application.

Kids can enjoy the Falls Pool even more now with its zero-entry pool area with shallow depths for little ones to enjoy safely, three water tower slides, an outdoor Jacuzzi, a kids’ splash zone, and a lawn area with a mini-golf course, and oversized lawn games. Fun poolside scheduled activities are also available for all ages to enjoy, including water balloon tosses, kids’ crafts and Gatorland animal interactions.

Additionally, Orlando World Center Marriott celebrated its 35th anniversary in June 2021 and to commemorate this special milestone, the property is offering a length of stay offer, which features up to 35 percent savings for guests.

The hotel has also recently completed several improvements throughout the property and is expecting new enhancements over the next few months, including:

  • Transformed Guestroom
The property has recently finalized the transformation of all guestrooms and suites, which feature a muted color palette of blue and grays with warm wood accents including a new hard surface floor. All rooms feature a full-size balcony with two chairs and there is an option to upgrade to a view of the main pool, which features a nightly laser show. Additional upgrades included the conversion from double/double beds to queen/queen beds, a changeover from bathtubs to walk-in showers for the majority of the guestrooms, as well as new furniture, draperies, bed linens and decor.
  • Redesigned Golf Course
Hawk’s Landing Golf Course’s exciting new design, which was introduced in 2020, features three completely rebuilt holes, including the signature finishing Hole #18, which is now a 204-yard, Par 3 island green. The new 18th Hole island green has become a highlight, challenging players to hit their best shot to finish their day on the course. These changes are a culmination of a multi-year improvement plan, which included a complete bunker renovation with capillary concrete liners, and a conversion of all putting greens to Diamond Zoysiagrass, which aid for speed and consistency.
  • A Reimagined Restaurant
Mikado’s Japanese Steakhouse (Teppanyaki Style) is currently undergoing renovations and is expected to reopen in December 2021. All entrees at Mikado will be prepared at hibachi tables.
  • A New Water Park
Slated to open in spring 2022, the new River Falls water park will feature an iconic slide tower that empties riders into a plunge pool before joining a 575-ft.-long lazy river. At a height of 50 ft., the slide tower will feature three innertube slides for 1-2 people, each with elements for twists and turns around every corner: a Boomerango, Aquasphere, and a Tailspin. Along with stepped entries along the river course, swimmers can wade into the lazy river through an adjacent zero-entry pool, which features eight kid-friendly bubbling nozzles at the water’s edge and two tall spraying vertical leaf elements. Ample lounge chair seating and private cabanas will also be available.

Additionally, the property currently has several offers and packages for guests to take advantage of, including:

  • In honor of the property’s recent 35th anniversary, the Length of Stay offer features up to 35 percent off savings for guests staying five nights or more through June 2022.
  • The Park, Stay & Play package includes up to 30 percent savings, accommodations for four people, self-parking for one vehicle and 2 p.m. late check out.
  • The Holiday Fireworks Spectacular package offers a front row seat to the resort’s spectacular fireworks display on NYE, Memorial Day and July 4th holidays from their private balconies and includes: $50 resort credit per night to be used towards in room champagne delivery or select restaurants, self-parking for one vehicle, late check-out at 2:00 p.m., upgraded pool view room (one king or two queen beds) with premium visibility of resort’s holiday fireworks and nightly laser light show display from your own guest room balcony.
