Destination Hotels recently re-launched its Destination Discoveries program across the U.S., which offers a new roster of local experiences for hotel guests—from cultural learning experiences to adventure and family experiences.

Guests can expect itineraries such as the Charleston & Beyond Photography Tour in South Carolina, while staying at the Wild Dunes Resort. Here, guests combine photography and historical exploration on a 2-day, fully guided tour of the city. Tours are based on predetermined guest preferences and interests, and are complemented by hands-on photography lessons. During the photography tour, guests will visit and take photos of seascapes, ship boats, plantations, church ruins, boneyard beaches, and the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. Those traveling to Snowmass Village, Colorado can stay at Destination Resorts Snowmass and take part in the Snowmass Ice Age Adventure, where families become Ice Age experts through an exploration of hidden alpine life that was uncovered a few years ago in the frozen grounds below Snowmass Village. Guests learn about the more than 5,000 bones of 41 types of Ice Age animals found on the guided Ice Age Nature and Discovery Hikes led by naturalists and guides. In the winter season, a tour of the Snowmass Ice Age Discovery Center and a storytelling hour bring the tales of the West to life. For pricing, a list of all packages, and additional information, visit destinationhotels.com/destination-discoveries.
