Every Wednesday night at the Davenport Lounge it’s Bites, Barrels and Jazz with live music from Jeremy Davenport from 5:50 p.m.-9:30 p.m. and a special food and drink menu featuring small bites and tasting-size portions of American Whiskey’s and wines. Guests can take in the local music scene and taste new bites in the comfort of their hotel. Every weekend, The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans’ Farmer’s Market offers guests an opportunity to sample local products from Louisiana’s farms and water, ranging from beer made with Ponchatoula strawberries to Louisiana’s crawfish bread. Courtyard New Orleans Downtown/Iberville is located one block from Bourbon and Canal streets in the historic Maison Blanche department store, a city landmark dating back to 1878. The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel helps guests immerse themselves in the city’s culture with the dedicated George Rodrigue Gallery, one of the few places in the country where travelers can admire the Cajun artist’s work, incudling the Blue Dog prints and an original Blue Dog painting that’s on loan from the New Orleans Museum of Art.
