Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Go All-Inclusive on the Riviera Maya

Hilton is moving Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya to All-Inclusive resort experiences, adding to the company’s All-Inclusive portfolio and building on offerings already available at both properties on Mexico’s Caribbean coast. The transition began Oct. 1.

The two resorts will diverge on age policy. As of Jan. 10, 2027, Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya becomes adults-only for registered guests 18 and older. Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya will stay multigenerational but add Ceiba Club, an adults-only section for registered guests 18 and older.

At Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya, a dedicated Personal Concierge will coordinate dining reservations, wellness appointments, transportation, excursions and celebrations before and throughout each stay. Dining includes Malpeque’s live-fire culinary theater and tableside carving, Chaya’s Mesa de Maiz, JA’O’s agave discovery and Margarita Cart, and the afternoon tea at Peacock Alley. The resort’s experience collection is organized as Restore, Discover, Indulge, Gather and Celebrate. Mornings may bring oceanfront yoga or Mayan breathwork, afternoons Riviera Watercolors or Margarita Mixology, and evenings bossa nova or Rum & Smoke. Inclusions also cover 24-hour in-room dining, a tailored minibar refreshed daily and private round-trip transfers from Cancun International Airport for eligible direct bookings.

Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya sits along a secluded bay where jungle, mangroves and the Caribbean Sea meet. Its restaurants range from Mediterranean sharing at Maratea to Japanese craftsmanship at Ukai and live teppanyaki at Kengai. Ceiba Club guests get access to Autor, a Michelin-recognized restaurant featuring contemporary Mexican cuisine, along with Ceiba Lounge and Carbon Restaurant, Pool & Beach. Programming runs through five collections: Awaken, Explore, Escape, Golden Hour and After Dark. The always-included kids’ club MYTHOS World offers age-specific programming, an Explorer Kit and The Stargazer evening experience. Private round-trip transfers are available from Cancun and Tulum international airports for eligible direct bookings.

At both resorts, eligible transient stays of four consecutive nights or longer may include one selected resort experience or destination excursion per stay. Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya’s options include a cenote experience at Vesica, a family waterpark experience at Xel-Ha or a spa inclusion.

The brands will honor existing reservations at both resorts under the terms confirmed at booking. The exception is Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya reservations that include guests younger than 18 and arrive on or after Jan. 10, 2027. For those, the resort will work with each guest to identify alternative accommodation options.

What This Means For Advisors

Metrics from leading consortia such as Travel Leaders Network and Virtuoso point to an upswing in luxury travel, so clients weighing upscale All-Inclusive options will look for clear-cut fits. Hilton has split the two resorts by age policy, which lets advisors match couples seeking an adults-only stay to Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and families to Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya.
