Amtrak’s Travel Tuesday event launches early for 2026 planning with discounts on nationwide Coach and Acela Business Class fares. You can now book your clients on fares reduced by up to 25 percent on select routes. The promotion applies to tickets booked Nov. 28–Dec. 3, 2025, for travel between Jan. 5 and March 15, 2026.
“Travel Tuesday is the perfect time to plan ahead and kick off the new year with big savings on future trips,” said Amtrak Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Eliot Hamlisch, in a press statement. “Amtrak continues to make travel more comfortable and convenient, offering spacious seating with no middle seat, without the stress of airport security lines or traffic.”

This limited-time sale spans popular long-distance and regional routes, including Acela, Auto Train, Borealis, California Zephyr, Capitol Corridor, Cardinal, Coast Starlight, Crescent, Empire Builder, Heartland Flyer, Lake Shore Limited, Northeast Regional and others.
The discount applies to Coach Class on select routes and Acela Business Class tickets. These services emphasize convenience, particularly for clients who prioritize space and ease of movement while traveling. Wide reclining seats, generous legroom and large windows make the rail experience both comfortable and scenic. There are no middle seats, and the absence of airport security lines or traffic adds to the appeal for travelers seeking a low-stress option.
