The cruise line’s summer 2025 journeys include six family-oriented itineraries and a series of culturally immersive voyages in partnership with Smithsonian Journeys.
The family-focused itineraries explore the shores of Greece, Sicily and the Adriatic. The journeys feature iconic archaeological sites, passage through the Corinth Canal, and visits to diverse ports such as Kythera, Zakynthos, Hvar, Malta and Sicily, as well as lesser-known destinations like Stari Grad, Pula and Piran.
Each cruise includes one excursion per person per port of call, chosen by destination experts. Onboard lectures by expert speakers enhance the experience.
For families, the Kid Explorers Club, developed with the Maud Fontenoy Foundation, offers daily activities for children aged 4-13. These include educational workshops, games, swimming and shore walks.

Fall Adventures
PONANT EXPLORATIONS’ two new 5-night Mediterranean voyages for Fall 2025 aboard Le Laperouse offer an authentic experience of the region during its quieter season, when coastal towns return to their tranquil state.
The first voyage, Italian Escape: Valletta to Naples, runs from Nov. 17-22, 2025. Priced from $3,260 per guest, this journey begins in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Valletta and concludes in Naples. Stops include Syracuse, Catania (featuring Taormina’s Greek theater and views of Mount Etna) and Salerno, gateway to Pompeii’s archaeological site.
The second itinerary, Mediterranean Interlude: Naples to Valletta, operates from Nov. 22-27, 2025, starting at $3,620 per guest. This voyage explores Naples, Palermo’s 12th-century cathedral and the Teatro Massimo, medieval Trapani, ancient Carthage in Tunisia and the Greek temples in Agrigento’s Porto Empedocle.
These itineraries feature no overlapping ports, allowing for combination into a longer Mediterranean exploration. PONANT EXPLORATIONS includes one complimentary shore excursion per person at each port, selected from a curated collection by the company’s destination experts.
