Irish tour leader CIE Tours has unveiled details of more than a dozen new travel experiences for 2020.

The tours are designed especially for North American travelers who seek new adventures across the pond, and include 12 new land tours as well as CIE Tours first-ever River Cruise Collection, and expanded offerings in Iceland, Italy and beyond.

Travelers who book a 2020 vacation before Sept. 30, 2019 can take advantage of several special offers. River cruisers can receive a $300 air credit per couple from gateways in North America; while those who book a 2020 group guided land tour can receive 10% savings. The 10% offer applies to all land tours except the signature St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin: The Wearing of the Green, which instead offers a $150-off per person promotion.

All guided tours can be customized for group travel and individual Private Driver experiences, and the prices include daily sightseeing admissions, full breakfasts, entertainment, most dinners as well as unique visits.

New land tours include the 7-day Ireland South Daytripper from $2,210 CAD, where guests live like a local for five nights in the picturesque village of Adare, staying at a luxury, family-run hotel. Daytrips include visits to the Cliffs of Moher, highlights of the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, and a scenic rail journey to the seaport town of Cobh—the last port of call for the Titanic. The tour also includes a sheepdog demonstration, jaunting car ride, a drink at the South Pole Inn, and a visit to Blarney Castle – and concludes with a private pub experience near Dublin and free time to explore before a final night’s stay in Ireland’s capital city.

The 7-day Best of London & Paris tour allows travelers to experience two of the world’s great capital cities from $2,600 CAD. It begins with afternoon tea in London while touring in a vintage double-decker Routemaster bus. The London section of the tour includes a visit to the British Museum, a London pub food tour, and visits to the Tower of London and Windsor Castle. Then it’s off to Paris by Eurostar train, followed by a Seine River cruise, visits to the Louvre and Montmartre, and plenty of free time to explore.

In addition to the 12 new land tours that include destinations in Iceland and Italy as well as the British Isles, CIE Tours has introduced its brand-new River Cruise Collection with stops in Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland and Hungary.
