Turks and Caicos is having a moment, and the development pipeline confirms it. Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay—the Andaz brand’s first Caribbean resort and Hyatt’s first branded property in the destination—is now open for reservations, with stays beginning June 2027. The property is on track to open late 2026.
Andaz: Boutique Retreat
Situated directly on Grace Bay, the beachfront resort sits steps from the Bight Reef within Princess Alexandra National Park—one of the most accessible snorkeling habitats in the Caribbean and a longtime draw for families and marine enthusiasts. At opening, the property will offer 59 guestrooms and 73 residences alongside three dining concepts, a spa, a kids club, multiple pools, tennis and pickleball courts, wellness programming and snorkeling and cultural experiences rooted in the natural environment of the islands.
Other current-year openings in the destination include Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos, Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay and Ellipse Grace Bay.. On the dining front, AMBRA at Beach Enclave and Il Forno at Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay are expanding the island’s culinary options.
The 2027 development slate carries five notable properties: The Loren at Turks & Caicos, The St. Regis Resort and Residences Turks & Caicos, Janu Turks & Caicos, InterContinental Resort & Residences Turks & Caicos and Kimpton Grace Bay Resort & Residences. Looking further ahead, Minor Hotels confirmed its first Caribbean property, Anantara Turks & Caicos Resort and Residences in North Caicos, scheduled to open in 2029.
Connectivity is also improving. New airlift from Air Canada and British Airways is boosting access to the destination, while yacht traffic rose by more than 1,300 calls in 2025 year over year—a signal of the growing demand for private and nautical travel to the islands.
