1. Eligibility: The Travel Advisor Appreciation Month Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”), in partnership with Virgin Cruises Intermediate Limited, trading as Virgin Voyages, is open exclusively to verified Travel Advisors who enter via the Sweepstakes online subscription form and are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry. The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United States and is void where prohibited by law. Do not proceed with the Sweepstakes if you are not a verified Travel Advisor, at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of, and located within, one of the 50 United States, or the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico) at the time of entry. Employees of Worth International Media (the “Sponsor”) or Virgin Cruises Intermediate Limited, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Worth International Media and Virgin Cruises Intermediate Limited, as final and binding as they relate to the content.
3. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on May 6, 2024, and ends on June 10, 2024. All online entries must be received by 11:59PM EST on June 10, 2024. Entries become the property of Worth International Media.
4. How to Enter: The Sweepstakes must be entered by subscribing or renewing your subscription to Recommend magazine through the Sweepstakes subscription form (the link is also provided through the Sweepstakes promotions and Home Page). You may subscribe only once, and you must fill in the requested information. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. You may increase your chances of winning by participating in the “Treasure Hunt” (quiz) and by entering once daily via the “Daily Entry Form”; links for the quiz and daily entry form will be provided via email after entering the Sweepstakes by subscribing or renewing. There is no cost to register or enter. Group entries are not allowed. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Worth International Media.
5. Prize: One (1) winner will receive one (1) access key redeemable for a Virgin Voyages “Sea Terrace” double-occupancy cabin for two (2) passengers on any Virgin Voyages itinerary (the number of days depends on the cruise route selected) from any port departing and returning in 2024, taxes included and subject to availability. Charter and holiday cruises are excluded, with more details provided by Virgin Cruises Intermediate Limited. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize (or portions thereof) of equal or greater value if the prize (or portions thereof) cannot be awarded as described. The Sponsors will determine all elements of the prize in its sole discretion. The Sponsor and Virgin Cruises Intermediate LiSweepstakesmited disclaim all or any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third-party product or service accepted by the winner. The Sponsor and Virgin Cruises Intermediate Limited are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. The prize is nontransferable. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the winner is permitted. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Worth International Media or Virgin Cruises Intermediate Limited to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Any and all prize-related expenses shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner’s use of the access key is subject to the acceptance of the terms and conditions presented at the time of booking.
6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of registrations received and participation in additional opportunities to increase your odds.
7. Winner selection and notification: On or about June 30, 2024, a drawing from among all eligible entries with the most participation received will be conducted under the supervision of Worth International Media. The winner will be notified via email to the email address they used to enter the Sweepstakes within 10 days following the winner selection. Worth International Media shall have no liability for the winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 10 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. The prize will be delivered up to thirty (30) days from the date of winner selection and acceptance. The receipt by the winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS THE WINNER OF THE Sweepstakes, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
8. Terms: Worth International Media reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, nonauthorized human intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond its control, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such a case, Worth International Media may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Worth International Media. Worth International Media reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website, or who violates these Terms & Conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Worth International Media, Virgin Cruises Intermediate Limited and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited, to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
