This September, The Villa Group Beach Resorts & Spas are honoring Mexico’s most patriotic month with its inaugural Taste of Mexico program, designed to immerse travelers in the country’s rich cultural and culinary traditions. In a nod to Mexican Independence day on Sept. 16, Mexican food festivals, vibrant theme nights, cooking and mixology classes, entertainment, sports and family-fun activities are on tap all month long at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta, Mexican Experience by Villa del Palmar, Villa del Palmar Flamingos, Villa La Estancia Riviera Nayarit, Villa del Palmar Los Cabos and Villa La Valencia Los Cabos.

Mexican cuisine is considered one of the oldest in the world and is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Foodies staying at The Villa Group properties will enjoy festivals and themed buffets with delicacies from all over Mexico, including the Broth and Stew Festival, Mole Festival, Ceviche Festival and, of course, a fan favorite, Taco Festival. Cooking classes will teach guests how to make authentic Mexican guacamole and salsas in a traditional molcajete, or even learn how to fix their favorite drinks with Tequila and Mezcal for memories they can share with the people back home. The little ones will be able to prepare their very own Mexican pizza or cookies.

The Villa Group Beach Resorts & Spas’ all-inclusive vacation packages also include early morning stretching sessions oceanfront, kayak and paddleboard tours, water volleyball games, pickleball and “donkey” races. More sedate activities are available, as well, such as Spanish lessons and handicraft workshops where they can design a piñata or an afternoon game of Spanish Lotería.

Every night is theme night, with live shows with folkloric dances and Mariachi players, music, and entertainment for the whole family, from karaoke night to movie night.

The Taste of Mexico experience is included when booking an all-inclusive package. For room-only bookings, guests can enjoy Taste of Mexico at a special price.
