Royalton Luxury Resorts is debuting a new concept in adults-only travel with its new Vessence brand, set to open in Barbados in Summer 2026. This new brand focuses on connecting your clients with destinations through art, local culture and sensory engagement.

“We’re truly excited to introduce our new brand at a time when we celebrate 15 years of trajectory in the all-inclusive industry,” said Jordi Pelfort, President of Blue Diamond Resorts, in a press statement. “This reflects everything we do best. We create forward-thinking concepts that speak to evolving guest expectations while pushing the boundaries of what an adults-oriented escape can be. From being the first in the region to offer late-night swimming under the stars to introducing designed spaces for digital detox and reconnection, this is about embracing what matters most in new and meaningful ways.”

Royalton’s New Endeavor

Royalton Vessence Barbados, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort – Adults Only, the brand’s inaugural property, was previously announced as Royalton CHIC Barbados, which has transformed into a concept that better reflects the character of its location.

The resort creates an immediate sense of place through curated design elements and artwork from local artists displayed in rotating exhibitions. Each accommodation offers luxury with character, emphasizing comfort while maintaining strong connections to Barbados. The premium Chairman Suites feature carefully selected art pieces and offer panoramic views. For guests seeking an even higher level of luxury, the Diamond Club category offers personal butler service and exclusive access to select areas.

The property introduces several distinctive features for the adults-only market. The Studio is as a creative hub during daylight hours with hands-on workshops in arts, pottery and culinary skills, then transitions into an evening venue for jazz and acoustic performances. The resort introduces innovation to the region by being the first to offer glow-in-the-dark pools for nighttime swimming experiences. Dedicated spaces for digital disconnection encourage your clients to be present and engage in meaningful interactions.

Wellness plays a central role through Moddo by Royalton FIT, which offers a comprehensive approach with yoga sessions, breathwork practices and movement classes led by specialist instructors. The resort also provides complimentary airport transfers—a first for resorts in Barbados—creating smooth arrivals and departures.

The Vessence concept is grounded in what the company describes as “Veritas and Essentia,” creating spaces where disconnection happens naturally. Every detail is crafted to immerse guests in the destination, offering tranquility and renewal.

The Royalton Vessence Barbados property is set to open in 2026, situated on the popular Platinum Coast, just 30 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport.
