Rocky Mountaineer’s 2023 Routes and Updates
The purveyor glass-domed train travel through the best of the Canadian Rockies and the American Southwest has four routes ready for your clients kicking off the 2023 season, which extends through mid-October. They can choose from Rockies to the Red Rocks (Denver-Glenwood Springs-Moab), First Passage to the West (Vancouver-Kamloops-Banff), Journey Through the Clouds (Vancouver-Kamloops-Jasper) or Rainforest to Gold Ruch (Vancouver-Whistler-Quesnel-Jasper).
For 2023, Rocky Mountaineer has upped its gourmet quotient by refreshing its culinary program, adding in regionally sourced ingredients onto menus that consider the places it travels through. For example, clients on the Canadian route will savor Alberta beef short rib, sweet corn and kale gnocchi, and Lois Lake steelhead salad. On the Rockies to the Red Rocks route, they’ll see items such as local braised short rib with New Mexico fire-roasted green chile demi-glace, lemon and herb roasted chicken breast with peach demi-glace, and peach strata bake. A new tradition on this route? Morning coffee with a fresh pastry from Sweet Coloradough Bakery.
The company has also issued a Travel Again promotion, where returning clients can save $500 CAD per couple on the Canadian routes or $400 USD per couple on the Rockies to the Red Rocks in the U.S. This is valid on any Rocky Mountaineer package for travel in 2023 or 2024. Colorado and Utah state residents can receive $100 off per person on qualifying Rockies to the Red Rocks bookings using promo codes 23RESIDENT for 2023 bookings and 24RESIDENT for 2024 bookings.
