Azora. Get familiar with that name, because The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will want you to memorize it. It’s the name of the cruise line’s inaugural yacht, set to sail in February 2020.
The name Azora, meaning “sky blue,” is supposed to embody the “wanderlust of a luxury journey at sea and inspire travelers to dream of their next destination,” said Doug Prothero, CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. “Azora, which evokes the beauty of the sky and ocean, does both.”
Azora will measure 624 ft., accommodate up to 298 guests and feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace. The yacht will also feature two 1,098-sq.-ft. lavish Owner’s suites, each with its own private 592-sq.-ft. terrace.
The Ritz-Carlton will offer an all-inclusive experience with onboard activities and entertainment, beverages, multiple dining venues, onboard gratuities, WiFi, and watersports from the yacht’s marina platform.
Signature experiences available for an additional fee include a culinary experience at the yacht’s signature restaurant designed by Michelin-starred chef Sven Elverfeld, spa treatments, and immersive excursions offered via The Shore Collection.
Azora will cruise a wide variety of destinations, including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada and Northeastern United States. Voyages will range from seven to 10 nights with ports including Barbados, Cartagena, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Mykonos, Portofino and many more.
