England has released new updates for vaccinated travelers. As of Jan. 7 2022, fully vaccinated travelers heading to England will no longer be required to take a pre-departure test or quarantine on arrival. In addition, as of Sunday Jan. 9, arrivals will only be required to take a rapid lateral flow test within two days of their arrival.

Before traveling to England – fully vaccinated travelers must:

  • book and pay for a COVID-19 Rapid Lateral Flow test—to be taken after they arrive in England
  • complete a passenger locator form—to be completed in the 48 hours before they arrive in England

When fully vaccinated travelers arrive in England:

  • After travlers arrive in England fully vaccinated travelers must take a COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test. (This is the test that was booked before travel). Travelers can take the test any time after they arrive before the end of day two at the latest. The day of arrival is counted as day 0.
