AmaWaterways has unveiled plans for its biggest ship ever, AmaMagna, which is expected to launch in 2019. The 194-passenger vessel will be twice the width of traditional European river ships and feature spacious staterooms, multiple dining options including an al fresco glass-enclosed restaurant, more onboard activities and enhanced evening entertainment. In addition, AmaMagna will feature 97 staterooms—the majority of which will be over 300-sq.-ft.—as well as a large heated sundeck swimming pool with whirlpool and sky bar, a spacious spa area, a fitness room large enough for small group classes, common areas designed to accommodate a variety of onboard events, and an open-water sports platform, complete with zodiac boats, canoes and recreational equipment.
