New Suite Details Unveiled for Seven Seas Splendor

A sneak peek inside the Grand Suite on board the new Seven Seas Splendor.

In anticipation of the newest cruise ship joining its fleet, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed additional details of the more than 14 suite categories guests will find on board the Seven Seas Splendor when she makes her debut in February 2020.

Together, the Master, Grand, Splendor and Seven Seas suite categories make up the 32 Distinctive Suites on board the Seven Seas Splendor. Guests in Distinctive Suites will be treated to personalized butler service, guaranteed dining reservations and customized pillows and bath products, among other amenities. These suites are designed to blend comfort and luxury, focusing on design details such as high-contrast materials and lush jewel-toned accents. Highlights of these suite categories include marble and stone bathrooms, living areas and bars fit for entertaining, walk-in closets, sliding glass doorways leading to a private balcony, and more.

Meanwhile, the Penthouse, Concierge, Superior, Deluxe Veranda and Veranda suite categories are purposefully designed to maximize ocean views that can guests can soak up from the privacy of their own balcony. Along with Elite Slumber beds, guests will be treated to spacious closets, plush bathrobes and slippers, an included mini-bar stocked daily, and many other amenities. In addition, guests who stay in a Concierge Suite or higher category will receive a complimentary 1-night pre-cruise hotel package.

“Perfecting luxury is about obsessing over large and small details,” said Jason Montague, Regent Seven Seas Cruises president and CEO, in press materials. “From specially commissioned one-of-a-kind artwork to visually stimulating touches throughout the ship, each space on Seven Seas Splendor will display finely tailored designs that offer a comfortable and stylish experience for luxury travelers.”

Beyond the Suites
In addition to suite designs, Regent also announced the interior design of the Observation Lounge on board the Seven Seas Splendor. The Observation Lounge, draws inspiration from an English garden, incorporating a light and airy color palette with a whimsical chandelier comprised of hand-painted porcelain flowers, peonies and roses serving as the lounge’s centerpiece. Traditional English architectural molding adorn the walls and are colored in neutral hues to create a contemporary, elegant setting. The furniture features soft curved forms and lush upholsteries inspired by the fluid forms of flower petals, while specially commissioned art by Gorman Studios incorporates hand-painted English roses and flowers on glass screens to reflect the look of porcelain chandeliers.
