MSC Group’s new Miami headquarters is officially open and it’s breathtaking, offering a bright, contemporary design and airy layout.

We took a peek at the 130,000-sq.-ft. office during a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony that included MSC Group leadership—Executive Chairman of MSC Group’s Cruise Division Pierfrancesco Vago himself was in the house—Miami VIPs such as Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and City of Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins, media and travel advisors.

Located in the heart of Downtown Miami along I-95, the MSC Group offices, which 400+ team members call home during the workday, occupies the entire seventh floor at Block 55 at Sawyer’s Walk, a 1.5 million-sq.-ft. mixed-use development by SG Holdings. The project, in fact, represents an approximately $100 million investment by MSC Group, reinforcing Miami’s role as a strategic gateway for North America and a global hub for cruising, trade and logistics. It also brings MSC Group closer to PortMiami, where in 2025 they opened the world’s largest cruise terminal.

To say we were blown away by the new office space is to put it mildly—it is impressive. Guests are welcome into an expansive lobby with a contemporary-styled sitting area that features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the busy surroundings. The flow continues through a hallway that showcases the timeline of MSC Group’s different divisions that hold court in these headquarters, including MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys. Each division has its own office space, connected by an open-air and quite expansive shared gathering space. A fun touch are the names of the meeting/conference rooms—named after the Group’s various ships. Key to the design and flow of the entire workspace is the seamless integration of natural light from the outdoors.

Ruben A. Rodriguez, CEO of MSC Group’s North America Cruise Division, said during the ceremony, “Our new North American Cruise Division headquarters reflects the scale of our ambitions for both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys. By bringing our teams together under one roof, we are creating an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation and shared purpose as we continue expanding our footprint, deploying more ships, welcoming more guests and strengthening our presence across U.S. homeports.”

According to an analysis conducted by the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, the new office will support an additional 1,500 jobs over the next three years and $300 million annually in recurring direct economic impact in Miami-Dade County.
