Marriott International is celebrating the new Cayman Airways flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) with special destination packages at all three of its resorts on Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach.
This Cayman Airways flight is the first direct flight from LAX to the Caribbean. Its offer a once-weekly service from LAX to GCM on Sundays, returning from GCM to LAX on Saturdays. Marriott International created new six-day packages and itineraries for its island properties to align with this flight schedule.
Of note is that the Cayman Islands recently dropped their pre-testing requirements, making travel from LAX to the island completely seamless.
Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa and The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman are all offering a 20 percent discount on the published retail rate and a resort credit of US$300. Guests can book this package through Oct. 31, 2022, and use it on a stay until Mar. 4, 2023. They must have traveled on the flight from LAX and will be required to present their boarding pass at check-in. The minimum stay is six nights; blackout dates may apply.
