Windstar Cruises is marking Travel Advisor Appreciation Month with a slate of incentives designed to support advisors.
Running May 1-31, the promotion includes bonus commissions, a grand prize giveaway to Tahiti and access to reduced-rate FAM sailings, while also introducing a new cancellation policy.
“Travel advisors are at the heart of everything we do,” said Janet Bava, Chief Commercial Officer at Windstar Cruises, in a media statement. “Their knowledge, dedication and ability to match the right guest with the right itinerary are essential to our success.”
Bonus Commission and Tahiti Cruise Giveaway
As part of the campaign, advisors will earn a $100 bonus commission per stateroom on every Windstar booking made during the promotional period, in addition to standard commission. There is no cap on earnings.
Each qualifying booking also earns advisors one entry into a grand prize drawing for a 7-day Dreams of Tahiti cruise for two, including round-trip airfare from Los Angeles. The prize is valid on select departures through March 31, 2027.
Clients booking during the promotional window will also qualify for the line’s second-quarter Complimentary All-In Package offer, adding value that advisors can leverage in the sales process.
FAM Rates and New Booking Assurance Tool
The cruise line is also spotlighting its travel advisor FAM program, offering reduced rates on select sailings across its global portfolio. According to the company, some FAM fares are discounted by as much as 50 percent off public cruise fares, depending on itinerary and availability.
Windstar is also preparing to launch a new booking assurance tool in early May with its Peace of Mind Promise featuring Cancel for Any Reason coverage. The complimentary policy will apply to eligible voyages booked through March 31, 2027, and is intended to provide additional flexibility for both advisors and their clients.
