Spots are still available for Aegean Mediterranean Cruises & Tours’ 8-day Mamma Mia Island FAM to Athens and Skopelos, the primary location where the movie was filmed, from Sept. 21-28, 2024.
The crafted itinerary begins with a two-night stay in Athens at the Titania Hotel and a half-day tour of Acropolis visiting its most significant sites, from the Temple of Olympian Zeus to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Panathenaic Stadium.

The FAM continues with a flight to Skiathos and an island transfer to the village of Glossa in Skopelos for a 4-night stay at the Flisvos Beachfront Apartments, which underwent a renovation in 2023. The 2-bedroom apartments include a living room with a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchenette, coffee maker, free WiFi, air conditioning and balcony with ocean views.
The FAM includes four days of leisure time (from Sept. 23-26), ideal to explore the area and visit spots where “Mamma Mia!” was filmed like Kastani Beach and Saint John’s Chapel, a 199-step climb to the top.
Optional excursions (entrance and excursion fees are not covered on this FAM) are also available. You can explore the island of Skopelos on an 8-hour boat tour ($449 for 5 passengers) that travels to famous, secluded beaches and caves. There’s also a 5-hour island excursion tour ($435 for 4 guests) with an English-speaking driver and an 8-hour tour ($599 for 4 passengers). If you’re interested in visiting Skaithos, a water taxi tour accommodates up to 8 passengers for $399; a 4- to 5-hour tour of the town is recommended to see the sites and have lunch.
The return trip to Athens includes a 1-night stay at the Athens Cypria Hotel.
FAM rates, which include all domestic flights in Greece and hotel stays, are priced at $2,299 (per person, double occupancy). Travel advisors can also sell this tour to their clients for commission—12% if your clients pay with a credit card or 15% with a check.
