Adventure Canada, a provider of small-ship expedition travel, is hosting a FAM for select travel advisors on its 2020 High Arctic Explorer expedition. Qualified travel advisors are invited to submit an application from now until March 31, 2020 to join this journey.

Traveling aboard the 198-passenger Ocean Endeavour, advisors can explore Canada’s Arctic on a 12-day adventure from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, to Qausuittuq (Resolute), Nunavut. On this journey, they’ll watch icebergs calving from Greenland’s glaciers, hike on Devon Island—the largest uninhabited island on Earth—and view at the tundra in summer bloom. There will also be an Inuit cultural welcome at Mittimatalik (Pond Inlet), and the opportunity to spot wildlife in Tallurutiup Imanga (Lancaster Sound), Canada’s largest and newest Marine Protected Area, and visit the Franklin Expedition graves at Beechey Island.

“[Adventure Canada] really [does] know how to look after their guests and make every day unique and special,” says Kerryn O’Neal, a travel advisor with Dreamlines in Australia in press material. “Their knowledge of the destinations and the educated resource team made for an incredible journey, one I will never be able to top.”

Selected advisors will receive a berth in a category 3 shared cabin, charter flights from Ottawa and returning to Toronto, a complimentary expedition jacket, special access permits, entry and park fees, guided activities, sightseeing and community visits, interactive workshops, all shipboard meals, and more included with the FAM rate. Pre- and post-tour hotels, travel insurance, gratuities, onboard expenses, and optional excursions are not included.

“If you travel with Adventure Canada, you are in for a very unique experience in a spectacular place with a bunch of knowledgeable and fun-loving staffers/experts who will help an already great trip be even better,” says Pat Henderson, a senior writer with NTA Services Inc. in press materials.
