A Gateway to Egypt’s Treasures
Upon arrival in Cairo, guests will be greeted by representatives for a transfer to the Radisson Blu Hotel. The adventure begins with a guided visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of artifacts, including the famed treasures of King Tutankhamun.
The tour continues to the Alabaster Mosque, the Coptic District and the Ancient Citadel, a historic fortress dating back to 1176. A full-day excursion takes travel advisors to the Pyramids of Giza and the Pyramid of Mykerinos. The tour also includes a stop at the Great Sphinx, followed by visits to Memphis, the ancient capital, and Sakkara, home to the Step Pyramid, the world’s first monumental stone structure.
An optional excursion to Abu Simbel offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, rescued from the rising waters of the Nile. The journey continues with a 3-night luxury Nile cruise, stopping at key sites such as Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor.
