The Bahamas Out Islands Promotion Board has reintroduced its Flexible FAM Trip, or Bleisure Travel Program, to travel agents at participating hotels in order to give agents the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the islands and member hotels at their leisure. Agents can choose from a variety of three- to five-star properties to enjoy with friends or family while enjoying discounted rates and a 1-day complimentary car rental. For example, at the 38-suite Valentines Resort & Marina on Harbour Island—Harbour Island’s newest luxury resort—agents receive a rate of $150 per night from Sept. 5 to Dec. 15, 2016, excluding holidays and the Regatta sail boat races (Oct. 7-10). Regular room rates start at $340 per night.
