At the Ensemble Travel Group annual conference in Seattle, Diane Petras, CTIE, president of The Travel Institute, announced that Ensemble is the first consortia to offer a scholarship for certification to every shareholder member. For the next year, Ensemble will underwrite 50 percent of the certification costs for each shareholder and will also offer a 15 percent discount for all other members.

“We are thrilled Ensemble has become the first consortia to offer its members scholarships to receive certification,” Petras said. “The credentials they receive through our training assures travelers that their Ensemble member advisor has met the highest education standards in the travel industry and provides them peace of mind that comes only when booking through a proven travel professional.”

Leading by example, the entire Ensemble Board of Directors has enrolled in the CTIE and have committed to studying together to earn this industry-recognized leadership credential.

“Having been a travel advisor for many years before taking on my role as CEO at Ensemble, I truly appreciate the value that certification provides and I am committed to ensuring our members have the ability to pursue it,” said David Harris, CEO of Ensemble.
