Azamara Cruises Introduces Travel Advisor Council

Azamara Cruises has announced the creation of the Azamara Cruises Travel Advisor Council. The advisory program will help the cruise line more closely collaborate with travel advisors, leading to better synergy across sales, marketing and guest experience initiatives.

According to the cruise line, the Travel Advisor Council “brings together a select group of high-performing, forward-thinking travel advisors who will serve as trusted partners to Azamara’s leadership team.” In their role, the council members will provide strategic insights, product feedback and a frontline perspective. This will help the cruise line in shaping future programs, tools and initiatives that support advisor success.

Specifically, these 10 members, who have been selected by Azamara Cruises’ Sales Managers across the U.S. and Canada and have made a 12-month commitment, will help test new ideas, refine processes and champion Azamara within the trade.

The council is composed of advisors representing diverse markets, specialties, and customer segments across North America and each member must have a minimum of five years of cruise-focused industry experience, be AWA graduates and have both sailed on and sold Azamara

“This council represents our commitment to listening, learning and growing alongside our travel advisor community,” said Michelle Lardizabal, Chief Sales Officer, North America, Azamara Cruises, in a media statement. “By formalizing this advisory group, we’re ensuring that advisor voices directly influence our business with the expertise of our valued partners.”
