New York Times-bestselling author of “The Jetsetters,” Amanda Eyre Ward, will host jet setting guests in readings, book discussions, a writing workshop and more on a 13-night voyage on Atlas Ocean Voyages’ World Navigator, departing Sept. 19, 2022.
“Books and stories are one of the age-old ways we share experiences and virtually travel to distant lands and learn about other cultures,” said Ward in a press statement. “I’m looking forward to our autumn Europe voyage, when I can meet and share in an unforgettable journey with my fans and visit, in person, some of my favorite destinations that have influenced my writing,” she added.
Jet setters will cruise in all-inclusive onboard luxury on the intimate and elegant, small-ship World Navigator on a 13-night voyage that starts with an overnight in London, docked alongside the historic HMS Belfast and adjacent to the city’s defining landmark, the Tower Bridge. Guests also enjoy overnights in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Paris (Honfleur) and Bordeaux, France. Other ports-of-call include Guernsey; St. Malo and Belle Isle, France; and La Coruna, Spain. The voyage concludes at Porto (Leixoes), Portugal, on Oct. 2.
Suites and staterooms aboard the London-to-Portugal, Jetsetters voyage starts at $3,314 per guest, based on double occupancy.
Ward’s best-seller, “The Jetsetters,” was the February 2020 selection of Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine book club and is set to become a TV series. She has also written “Sleep Toward Heaven,” “How to Be Lost,” “Love Stories in This Town,” “Forgive Me,” “Close Your Eyes,” “The Same Sky,” “The Nearness of You,” and “The Lifeguards,” which was released this year. Her best-selling novels have appeared in People magazine, The New York Times, and other publications.
