AmaWaterways is taking travel advisors on a journey down the Danube with this year’s river cruise FAM stopping in four countries.
Departing on Aug. 2, 2019 aboard the AmaLea, advisors on this 7-night river cruise FAM will follow the Melodies of the Danube itinerary visiting Austria, Germany, Hungary, and Slovakia with stops in each country’s capital city. The sailing begins in Budapest before moving on to Bratislava and Vienna, and then on to other towns and cities along the Danube River. Highlights of the FAM include city tours in each port, exploring Budapest’s Great Market Hall and Castle Hill, hiking up to Bratislava Castle, a Klosterneuburg Abbey bike tour, a wine and apricots tasting in Durnstein, a full-day Salzburg excursion, and more.
Pricing for the Melodies of the Danube FAM start at $1,290 for travel advisors and $1,490 for companions in a Category E stateroom. Upgrades are also available for 50 percent off the usual rate. Advisors should also note that FAM rates are applicable on new bookings only for a maximum of two guests per stateroom and one stateroom per advisor. Port charges, land programs, round-trip airfare, and gratuities are additional. Agents must be registered with AmaWaterways prior to booking, and full payment is required at the time of booking. The FAM rate is not combinable with other promotions. Advisors must submit a FAM Application via e-mail in order to book.
