Travel advisors looking to increase their New Zealand bookings can learn more about the 2-island nation during one of the training roadshows scheduled for this October.

Hosted by Tourism New Zealand, the roadshow will be held October 8-11, 2018 in Jersey City, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Minneapolis. Advisors can expect an evening of networking, product updates, and sampling regional wine and cuisine. Agents will be able to discover the range of experiences available in places such as Northland, Auckland, Wellington, Wairarapa, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, and the West Coast.Operators from Pure Southern Land, Thermal Explorer Highway, and Pacific Coast Highway will also be present. Attending advisors are also eligible to receive credit for a training, which is a requirement to reach Silver or Gold status in the 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Program.

“By bringing the many wonderful destinations of New Zealand to these markets, agents can experience New Zealand’s culture and hospitality first-hand while also learning about products and offerings to help grow their New Zealand business,” said Tourism New Zealand senior trade manager, Michelle Rosenberg, in press materials.

These roadshows will take place just ahead of the Nov. 30, 2018 launch of nonstop flight service from Chicago to Auckland.
