Perillo’s Learning Journeys, a branch of Perillo Tours, is inviting advisors to a Travel Agent Professional Development Symposium taking place in Tuscany.

Taking place Feb 16-22, 2019, the Symposium features five professional development classes covering topics such as creating your own brand, growing your niche business, selling in new markets, targeting groups and independent travelers, marketing, database management, and more. Classes will be led by Carol Dimopoulos, Perillo’s Learning Journeys president. Overall, the Symposium will be a combination of classes and hands-on learning experiences sampling unique travel offerings in Tuscany. When advisors are not in class, they can look forward to activities such as olive oil, wine, coffee and pastry tastings, a cooking class, and an Italian language lesson, plus welcome and farewell dinners. Through these activities, advisors will get to explore Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, and sites throughout the Chianti region.

At the end of the symposium, travel advisors will be awarded Professional Development Certification and 10 CEU’s from The Travel Institute. Pricing for the Professional Development Symposium starts at $895 pp dbl or $1,150 for a solo traveler. This price includes all activities, all classes, accommodations for five nights, transfer from the Florence airport, city taxes, and more.
