Collette has announced a new Advanced Commission Program that will offer advanced commission payments to Travel Advisors. Upon deposit, Collette will pay a portion of the full commission amount based on the type of booking.

The program will offer three flat-rate options for earning advanced commission as follows:

  • $100 per booking for land-only bookings
  • $125 per booking for land and air bookings
  • $200 per booking for any booking that includes Collette’s Travel Protection Plan

To protect the hard work of the Travel Advisor community, Collette will not recall the advanced commission payments if the client cancels. The Advanced Commission Program will run from Sept. 9, 2020 until Dec. 31, 2021, and will be applicable for all departures from May 1, 2021 and beyond. This means that Travel Advisors will be able to earn advanced commission on all tours in their newly released 2021-2022 Worldwide Travel Guide and the much-anticipated Oberammergau 2022 tours.

In order to meet and exceed the new expectations of suppliers, Collette has collaborated with their preferred partners to develop a program that meets the immediate needs of their Travel Advisors. “This is a pivotal change, not just for Collette, who is leading it, but for the travel industry as a whole,” says Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg, co-president and owner of Valerie Wilson Travel in a press statement. “Quick action and adaptability like this is exactly what is needed to rebuild the global travel industry. I am proud Collette is supporting travel advisors at the center of their business strategy”.

Nicole Mazza, chief marketing officer at TRAVELSAVERS, says in a press statement, “TRAVELSAVERS is grateful to Collette for their ongoing commitment to the travel advisor community. As an industry, we are at a crucial intersection, and it will take strong leadership and decisions like this to ensure our advisors thrive again”.

In alignment with their “Sincerely Yours” promise, Collette remains committed to the success of Travel Advisors and to the rebuilding of the travel industry as a whole.
